We are currently seeking a Compliance Specialist for our San Antonio, TX location.

  • Location: 3503 Paesanos Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78231
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, Days and/or hours may vary and/or subject to change based on client need.
Essential Functions Include:
  • Manages Vendor Management Due Diligence.
  • Assists with implementation of regulatory changes.
  • Responsible for assisting with the monitoring of compliance training programs.
  • Assists with loan reviews with a focus on procedural efficiencies and regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Coordinates, monitors and assists with any consumer complaints.
  • Assists with incoming compliance questions from production and operational staff.
  • Must maintain reliable attendance.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 3 years mortgage or related experience and/or training.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Knowledge and understanding of risks, controls and audit processes.
  • Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of loan processing, underwriting and closing policies, procedures, governmental and agency requirements.
  • Knowledge of current RESPA/TILA /TRID/HMDA rules.
  • Encompass experience a plus.
