We are currently seeking a Corporate Training Manager for our Austin, TX or remote from any branch location.

  • Location:5707 Southwest Parkway, Bldg. 2, Suite 150, Austin, TX 78735
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, Days and/or hours may vary and/or subject to change based on client need.
Essential Functions Include:
  • Develops training programs for developing highly qualified team members in the Production Department.
  • Prepares, maintains, and ensures employee adherence to are made aware of updates to company polices, procedure, guidelines, and systems.
  • Responsible for developing training materials.
  • Responsible for receiving and responding to scenario questions from team members in the Production Department.
  • Collaborates with other Operations Department Managers on developing regular pertinent monthly. training sessions for all team members and coordinates webinars.
  • Oversees onboarding and ongoing development and training initiatives with team members.
  • Oversees Legacy University onboarding program content creation and course instruction.
  • Coordinates with management to assess training needs for branches and individual team members.
  • Provides regular updates and feedback to management.
  • Responsible for providing continual feedback to management for system/process improvement.
  • Hosts and coordinates quarterly Operations Department calls to inform the Production Department of trending items and forthcoming updates to processes and procedures.
  • Supports the Product Development, Appraisal, and Condo Department as needed in their respective initiatives and duties.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating, or a combination of all aspects.
  • Must have some training experience in the mortgage industry.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week during normal business hours.
  • Must be proficient in Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook applications.
  • Must be proficient in Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator, Loan Prospector, Guaranteed Underwriting System, and Loan Originations systems.
  • Must have some virtual training utilizing web-based platforms like: Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar, Ring Central Meeting, Zoom, etc.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a positive attitude and maintain professionalism.
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
  • Must be proficient with major correspondent and wholesale channels and their guidelines, including their websites and pricing engines.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must maintain regular attendance.
