These weekly posts usually require a bit of a “precursor” story to set the tone of the graphic or the testimonial given; but our recent feedback from our long time Colorado Loan Officer, Grover Greer, needs no introduction. He speaks of and for our culture exactly the way we have continually defined and refined it.

“I always tell realtors and everyone I meet when I am in the field ‘you don’t know what you don’t know.’ That could have never been truer for me than when it came to Legacy Mutual Mortgage. I had broken in with another company and truly believed that they were a great, focused, sales oriented company with an amazing culture. Nothing against them but I could not have been more wrong.

After I met with Tom Romanello, he decided I had to be flown down to San Antonio, TX. After those 24 hours with Legacy in San Antonio, I was hooked. I had never experienced such care in what I needed and a culture, from the President to the sales people to the operations staff, that was so energizing and amazing. Everyone was pulling in the same direction and had such a great attitude about doing so.

Culture is a word that is thrown around a lot in society but with Legacy I truly came to understand what it means to have a great culture. Culture starts at the top and it goes all throughout an organization. It is not something that you just say; it is something you have to care about and truly follow through with. Actions not words. At Legacy, we have an amazing culture.  It doesn’t matter if you are the top sales person or just someone starting out, this company truly cares. Legacy will do EVERYTHING within their power to make sure you succeed and they will do everything to protect that winning culture. Once you have that, a winning culture that is there for you to reach your potential and dreams, the sky is the limit.

I think my favorite part is it isn’t all about the sales (but trust me we have that too!) It is about being a great human being and a great family person. It is about morals and values and doing what is right. In a cut throat business such as ours that is truly refreshing. I am a Legacy lifer and that will never change.”
