Don Kalbacher 

Chief Operations Officer

Don Kalbacher began his mortgage career in 1991, which has included management positions in Accounting, Wholesale Lending, Correspondent Lending, Capital Markets and Mortgage Operations. He has been part of the Legacy team since 2009.

Graduating from Fort Lewis College with degrees in Accounting and Exercise Science with an accompanying teaching certificate, he had planned to coach and teach before moving to Austin, TX, and beginning his time in the mortgage business. In addition to his time at Fort Lewis College, he also graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association School of Mortgage Banking and its Future Leaders Program.

Throughout his time in the mortgage business, Don Kalbacher has been fortunate to participate in National, State and Local Mortgage Bankers Associations. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying physically active.
