Clay grew up in the Lake Highlands area in Dallas, Texas.  He graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies.

Prior to joining Legacy Mutual Mortgage in 2020, Clay worked in sales and customer service in the luxury automotive industry. Clay is passionate about building relationships, understanding client’s goals, and creating a mortgage plan to obtain those goals. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer or you have owned a home for 50 years, he strives to provide a personalized experience to make the mortgage process seamless.

He and his wife, Katherine, moved back to Lake Highlands in 2013 to start a family. Clay enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Jackson and Parker.  Some of his hobbies include golfing and coaching his son’s youth soccer team. They will be welcoming a baby girl in September 2022.
